新南威尔士州州长已宣布，新南威尔士州将实施全国Gonski 教育的改革，提供50亿元的教育经费给 新南威尔士州的学校。州长表示所需资金中17亿元已经确定，为了筹集另外 33亿元，政府将采取一系列的措施，比如暂时推迟废除州 政府协定的一些税包括消印花税等以得到更多的税收。
根据州政府间协议，新南威尔士州已同意取消各种关税和其他税。有些已经被废除，例如雇用协议税。但是业务资产的转让，非上市的有价证券和贷款的印花税废除被推迟。你可能还记得，这些印花税原定于2012年7月被废除，但在2012年6月政府藉GST收入下降的借口推迟到2013年7月1日废除。现在又被推迟，而且没有说推迟多久。
这一决定将影响到从2013年7月1日准备在新洲资产重组的生意 – 例如简单将生意从信托转到公司名下，将多付生意市值的4％的税。尽管这样，如果您计划从7月1日起资产重组，佳信会计提醒您还是有其他有效的方式进行重组。
