1. What services do you offer?
We offer a variety of services; specialising in accounting, tax, advisory, GST and corporate secretarial services.  At Fortis Accounting Partners we focus on service rather than size when it comes to clients. We have clients with international transactions and foreign parent companies with turnovers in the millions.  We also have small to medium sized clients, family businesses and their related entities.  No client is too small, with many of our clients being private individuals.  We liaise with the ATO, ASIC and Office of State Revenue (OSR) on a daily basis. Fortis also provides compliance services for Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) and works directly with auditors to ensure that the strict compliance rules for SMSFs are adhered to. In conjunction with year-end tax, accounts and quarterly BAS; we set up companies, trusts and SMSFs.  We are also well experienced in dealing with ASIC, ATO, OSR and banks – as well as all facets of bookkeeping, assisting with finding company or home loans, payroll, structuring advice and many other services.  Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss how our services can be tailored to meet your specific needs.
2. Are you registered tax agents?
Yes, we are a registered tax agent accounting firm.  Furthermore, we are a Chartered Accounting firm and are thus required to adhere to the strict rules of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.  We are also fully insured and hold professional indemnity insurance.
3. Who will I deal with if I use your services?
You will deal directly with a team of accounting experts.  Our team of professional staff has a high level of knowledge; with ongoing educational and hands on training ensuring that you will receive the reliable, personalised and premium services that Fortis Accounting Partners is known for.
4. Do you come to me?

Yes, we can come to you!  If you are unable to travel to one of our three offices, we will happily meet with you at your place of business.  Whether you require our assistance with a formal meeting, or to simply collect documents – we are present and ready to help.

5. Which industries/fields do you service?
The short answer is all.  We have clients working within retail, medical, consulting, building and manufacturing industries – as well as a wide variety of others.  Whichever industry you are in, we are always happy to discuss how Fortis Accounting Partners can meet your identified needs.
6. Why should I use Fortis Accounting Partners?
Indeed, there are many accounting firms; although we find that not all firms are able to provide the truly diverse, prompt and personalised service that Fortis Accounting Partners is proud to offer. We make certain that all of your business and personal needs are thoroughly satisfied through our range of professional services.  By working closely with you at all times, we are able to provide current, accurate and relevant advice – whatever your circumstances may be.
7. Are you able to work with my accounting software?
Yes; whether you use Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks or Sassu – we can work with you.  Our staff are able to extract your data, or work with your software. If you have been thinking about switching software, we can provide advice on what would work best for your specific situation – as well following through with the implementation of any changes that may be required.
8. Would you be willing to liaise with my bookkeeper/lawyer/bank manager?
Yes; this is extremely common for us as most of our clients have a personal bookkeeper to manage their data records and accounts.  When the time comes to complete your BAS, year-end accounts and tax return, or any other matter; we can liaise with whoever necessary to ensure the efficient actioning of all matters.
9. How much do your services cost?
Each client is unique in their own situation, thus we necessarily tailor all costs and solutions based on your specific needs.  We offer a complimentary initial meeting, from which we can determine the particular range and level of services you require, and in turn the rates that would apply to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us for a comprehensive quote, or to discuss potential costs.
10. Can I pay on a monthly or quarterly basis?
Absolutely!  To assist with cash-flow, we are happy to offer ongoing clients the ability to be charged either monthly or quarterly.  We will discuss this upfront with you when we have our initial meeting.
