组织一个可以扣税的圣诞派对

随着圣诞节的临近,雇主们开始计划精彩的派对活动和准备员工礼物来庆祝一年的工作即将结束。员工圣诞派对和员工的情绪对任何公司来说都至关重要,并且非常有利于你的生意。但是这些活动没有必要成为一笔昂贵的开支而带给公司负担。那么应该怎么办呢?

使用“微福利”规则

一般而言圣诞派对活动中的娱乐费用是不可以抵扣的,除非你交了员工福利税。然而,按照“微福利”规则,用于每个员工不超过300澳元的费用可以抵扣并且不计入员工福利税。这对于小企业来说是一个很大的优势。此外,如果在工作时间和工作场所举行派对使这规则运用地更合理。

尽量减少员工福利税

还有一些方法可以减少需要缴纳的员工福利税,其中包括:

  • 要求员工对派对费用作出个人贡献或者提供“税务”奖金。
  • 提供免费的培训或出差来奖励员工。

所有的雇主都应该意识到,在一年努力工作的尾声奖励员工非常的重要,可以让他们保持动力在下一年里创造更大更好的成绩。一些表达感激的礼物费用通常是可以抵扣的,只要礼物不是过于贵重,也不很频繁地送出,比如鲜花、酒、香水和礼品券。当然以娱乐为目的礼物(如电影票,演唱会门票)尽管无福利税但是收入税则可能不能抵税。

通过对这些生意费用税法的了解,雇主们可以大大地减少财政方面的压力和担心,可以更好地奖励员工和他们分享这愉快的圣诞。
